Calendar

Students create pictures of famous landmarks, attractions or even countries from around the world. A selection of pictures from all the schools will be used to create the calendar.

Students will know different characteristics of the countries.

Dates: October and November

CALENDAR PROPOSAL

The calendar should be a 2 year calendar.
One picture from each partner should just be a country page.
The only thing that should be on the country page is the name of the country written in different styles by the students a map of the country and the country’s flag. (See below)

4. The rest of the pages should have different themes. Here are some suggestions:

Capital city/Major cities

(The above 2 pages will include tourist attractions)

Our school
Food and drink
Music
Flora and Fauna
Technology
Money
Geography
Transport
Language

5. All of the above pages should have original pictures by the students.

6. Each partner can choose as many or as few of the above themes as they want.

7. The total amount of calendar pages must be 24.

8. Each teacher will use the shared document (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hkaDlUMz5X0GNzvYvLRQwdSCDyrehz7Qygbu2rf6gYg/edit?ts=5bae5cc1#gid=1631029237) to let the other partners know how many calendar pages they will be doing and what the theme of those pages will be.

9. The colouring of each title should remain the same. (Compare Cyprus calendar page above with Cypriot animal calendar page below. Letters are orange with a green background.)
